Monitoring and evaluation requirements
Programme level
Programme level evaluations, commissioned by us and with Dutch ministries as fund owners, are carried out for individual government programmes every three to five years. Annual reporting is done on agreed annual indicators and some additional indicators in line with the IATI requirements that are published on the IATI website.
Indicator frameworks
Programmes that are conducted by us and commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Dutch Ministry of Finance each have their own result/indicator framework and reporting regime that needs to be followed both for financial and IESG component requirements. This is assured with existing integrated reporting frameworks and templates.
External evaluation
We are also subject to regular external impact evaluations to create accountability, show impact and allow for learning, sometimes commissioned by our shareholders, for example ministries.
