Since its launch in November 2022, the Dutch Desk has become an important resource for Dutch entrepreneurs in Nigeria. To enhance our on-the-ground support, we recently appointed Nene Barry as the new Dutch Desk Manager. With a strong background in construction management and engineering, and extensive experience in the watersector across Africa and Asia, Nene brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for development in Africa. Her previous work in Ghana has fueled her drive to make a meaningful impact, and her new role at the Dutch Desk perfectly aligns with this mission. Nene brings valuable expertise and a strong local presence, ensuring direct, personalized support for businesses navigating the complexities of the Nigerian market.

The Dutch Desk is a collaboration between Invest International and Access Bank, combining our international financing solutions with Access Bank’s local financial products. This partnership allows us to offer a full range of services tailored specifically to the needs of Dutch companies—whether it’s opening local bank accounts, securing project financing, or facilitating currency conversion. The €30 million financing facility established in partnership with Access Bank supports projects across key sectors like Agri-Food, Water & Infrastructure, Energy, and Healthcare.
