Project summary
Through a guarantee under the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF), Invest International enabled Rabobank to provide financing to Skylla Europe for a new medical textile production facility in Morocco. This collaboration demonstrates how guarantees can unlock commercial financing and enable Dutch companies to scale internationally while delivering meaningful impact.
This investment significantly expands Skylla’s production capacity, next to the existing production facilities in North Macedonia and Tunisia, and allows the company to meet growing international demand for high-quality healthcare and medical textile products. Skylla develops and manages the full supply chain for textile solutions used by leading healthcare brands across Western Europe, Scandinavia, and North America.
Among the products manufactured is the innovative flying mattress, designed to improve patient safety and ease the physical burden on healthcare workers during transfers in hospitals.
Sustainability plays a central role in the company’s operations. Skylla actively implements eco-friendly practices such as reusing packaging materials and reducing transport waste. Its facilities adhere to internationally recognized ISO standards for environmental and sustainability management.
