Mango fruit

Project Summary

Van den Heuvel Dairy & Food Equipment, a company specializing in the supply of production lines for the dairy and liquid food processing industry, utilized export finance and working capital to expand a mango juice production line in Gambia for Rahma Gambia Ltd. With the export financing facility provided by Invest International, Rahma Gambia Ltd. was able to purchase equipment from Van den Heuvel and enhance their production capacity.

The project enabled Rahma Gambia Ltd. to increase their output to 1,000 liters of mango juice, sourced from local farmers. This initiative not only strengthens the local value chain in Gambia but also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8) by promoting decent work and economic growth. By
utilizing export finance and pre-export working capital, Van den Heuvel ensured a steady cash flow while contributing to sustainable development in emerging markets.
