Project summary

Kovalska is one of the largest vertically integrated construction material manufacturers and property developers in Ukraine. Their business encompasses the production of concrete and associated products like dry mortar mixes as well as the building of residential and non-residential properties.

In a stride towards innovation, Kovalska’s new production venture in Rozvadiv, Western Ukraine, will harness the cutting-edge lightweight concrete technology pioneered by Aircrete Europe. Hailing from Oldenzaal, Aircrete is renowned globally for its advanced AAC machinery and technology, revolutionizing the production of AAC panels and blocks. This technology not only enhances structural integrity but also reduces energy consumption by 20%, thanks to its insulation properties.

Funding for this initiative comes in part from the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF), enabling the acquisition of machinery and the establishment of the state-of-the-art production facility in Rozvadiv. This investment is both a step to support Ukraine’s recovery and for Aircrete Europe’s growth, by offering a sustainable and economically viable solution to an energy intensive industry.
