Project summary

Envipco offers an innovative and easy way for consumers to return empty PETs, cans, and glass drink containers. In addition to producing these machines, the company plays a vital role in supporting the governments of several countries in setting up legislation for deposit return schemes.

We provided a €9 million loan through the Dutch Trade and Innovation Fund (DTIF) we manage on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Envipco is using the loan for the working capital needs of its production facility in Sebes, Romania, which helps serve the growing European demand for reverse vending machines.
