Amsterdam based company Harvest Waste develops Waste to Energy (WtE) projects in urban areas that need it the most, deploying the high efficiency Waste to Energy. This technology that was developed by the municipality of Amsterdam is currently operational at AEB Amsterdam, which operates the Netherlands’ largest waste incineration facility. Invest International supports Harvest Waste in their international expansion with a development agreement that was just signed.
The agreement concerns development funding to the Harvest Waste project company Sorouh North BV to cover a proportion of the costs of the Harvest Waste led consortium to get to financial close on a 1,200 tonnes / day WtE facility. The facility will be built near Jenin, in the northern West Bank. The project has been awarded to the consortium after an international tender process.
