Project summaryÂ
HatchTech Group, a global leader in hatchery technology, is expanding its production facility in Ukraine with the support of an €8.5 million loan from the DGGF. The company specializes in innovative, climate-controlled incubation and hatchery systems designed to promote sustainable and efficient food production, particularly within the poultry industry.Â
This project will increase production capacity, enabling the manufacturing of HatchTech’s gender-sorting technology, which prevents the culling of male chicks and reduces waste in poultry production. The expansion will generate around 100 new jobs in Ukraine, directly supporting the local economy, and further reinforcing HatchTech’s commitment to sustainable development. The expanded facility will also house advanced technologies aimed at improving animal welfare and reducing resource use, with a focus on enhancing production efficiency. HatchTech’s innovations will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving resource utilization, and driving the shift toward responsible food production globally.Â
