Meer dan 60 ondernemers hebben, samen met ondernemersverenigingen VNO-NCW en MKB-Nederland, een brief aan het Nederlandse kabinet gestuurd<\/a> waarin wordt opgeroepen tot meer investeringen in de verdere groei van Invest International. De ondertekenaars benadrukken dat deze investering niet alleen zelfvoorzienend is, maar ook cruciaal voor het behoud van de concurrentiepositie van Nederland op de wereldmarkt, met name ten opzichte van andere landen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nederlandse bedrijfsleven ondersteunen <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In de brief wordt benadrukt dat veel kleine en middelgrote ondernemingen baat hebben bij de unieke financieringsoplossingen van Invest International. De organisatie heeft een snelle groei doorgemaakt, die de aanvankelijke verwachtingen heeft overtroffen, doordat Nederlandse ondernemingen snel gebruik hebben gemaakt van haar diensten. De ondernemers dringen er bij de overheid op aan om dit positieve momentum voort te zetten door extra kapitaal beschikbaar te stellen, zodat Invest International Nederlandse bedrijven kan blijven ondersteunen bij het uitbreiden van hun marktaandeel wereldwijd de komende jaren. De brief is specifiek gericht aan minister van Financi\u00ebn Eelco Heinen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driedubbele winst voor belastingbetaler<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\"Het is nu tijd om Invest International de ruimte te geven om verder te groeien\", stelt de brief. \"Deze uitbreiding staat garant voor een driedubbele winst: financiering van Nederlandse bedrijven versterkt onze economie, genereert dividend voor de belastingbetaler en levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan duurzaamheidsinitiatieven.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Waste Transformers is een van de Nederlandse ondernemers die de brief heeft ondertekend. The Waste Transformers is gespecialiseerd in de productie en installatie van modulaire biogasgeneratoren die 'afvaltransformatoren' worden genoemd. Deze innovatieve biovergisters stellen bedrijven, vari\u00ebrend van supermarkten tot hotels, voetbalclubs en ziekenhuizen, in staat om voedselafval ter plekke om te zetten in biogas (om schone elektriciteit en warmte op te wekken) en natuurlijke meststoffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We verstrekten \u20ac5 miljoen aan eigen vermogen ter ondersteuning van The Waste Transformers' internationale uitbreiding en impactmissie om voedselverspilling wereldwijd tegen te gaan, de uitstoot van broeikasgassen te verminderen en de circulaire economie te bevorderen. De investering maakt deel uit van een financieringsronde van in totaal \u20ac10 miljoen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nieuwe investeringen om impact te vergroten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Met een nieuwe kapitaalinjectie kan Invest International zorgen voor nog meer impact. Iedere ge\u00efnvesteerde belastingeuro komt via Invest International terug met dividend en levert daarnaast een extra rendement van 80 eurocent op voor de Nederlandse economie. Bovendien draagt Invest International, door het stimuleren van internationale handel en investeringen, concreet bij aan de in het hoofdlijnenakkoord genoemde doelen van voedselzekerheid en watermanagement, en in algemene zin aan de veiligheid en weerbaarheid van Nederland, ons concurrentie- en verdienvermogen en aan onze welvaart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
