Invest International partners with Incision for the best surgical Healthcare worldwide

Invest International announces an equity investment of €3 million in Incision, a fast-growing Dutch medical software company specializing in surgical care. Founded in Amsterdam, Incision has rapidly established an international profile for its digital support products and clinical training solutions, improving the performance and efficiency of surgical units and operating rooms (ORs).

Digital solutions supporting hospitals

Incision builds and implements digital solutions that support hospitals in improving the performance and efficiency of their surgical units and operating rooms (ORs) through two product lines.

  1. Incision Assist is a first-of-its-kind mobile platform built to digitally capture OR workflows. It provides staff with optimized information access and enables managers to curate team-specific resources and improve efficiency. Assist has been implemented at hospitals worldwide to successfully reduce case turnover time, streamline onboarding programs, and improve OR staff performance.
  2. Incision Academy is an online learning platform with over 500 video-based courses professionally filmed in clinical environments. It is used globally to supplement cross-specialty training and utilizes a validated step-by-step methodology proven to improve learning and performance.

Expansion to the US market

Both product lines of Incision are extensively used across Europe and the MEA region. Invest International’s investment will support Incision’s expansion to the US market, following successful contracts with a number of major US hospital chains.

Invest International joins a consortium of health-focused institutional investors, including SHS, Alafi Ventures, and Rubio Impact Ventures.
